Kyle and Karen met in Sacramento in 1996. They went out on their first date in 1998. That date was a disaster (since Karen was basically tricked into the date). But they remained friends, until Kare
n finally came around and realized that she liked Kyle. They got together and then she broke up. But then they got back together again. And she broke up with him again. But then finally they got back together for the third time. Karen was tired of breaking up, so they got married August 24th, 2003. Two years later, on April 15, 2005, their son, Alexander Joaquin, was born. Exactly a year and a half later, on October 20, 2006, their daughter, Zoe Charisma, was born. Marriage and parenthood have been wonderful. And we wanted to share our experiences through this blog.

Kyle and Karen,
Wow, great blog, great looking kids, and great news!! Finally, we will be able to stop feeling bad that we never go to Oakdale and see you, and that we never have even seen Zoe in real life. Now, we will be able to feel bad that we don’t ever see you even closer, in Granite Bay. No, no, I didn’t mean that. We will see you in Granite Bay!!
We don’t have a blog. We only have a website. I think that the pictures are at least a year old, but it has been longer than that since you have seen any of us.
Margaret has changed her life. She left David and is now living with a woman. Their two boys are OK, I think, and David is fine. We will tell you all about it when we see you.
Love,
Janet (and Ron, too)
Karen, you’ve done a beautiful job with this website! (I’m assuming it’s mostly you, because it’s your voice I hear in the narrative…)
Wow — your kids are so beautiful! With such intelligent, soulful eyes! They are indeed a blessing, and I’m enjoying seeing how you and Kyle have made a life for yourselves. All my very best to you all…and I look forward to meeting you SOON.
Sincerely, Jen Rader
